The City That Never Sleeps

Enjoying free wifi at LCC terminal! Thank god KL airport is decent!

Comparing rafting experience with what happened earlier, I think I might go through the former again if I had to choose between the lesser evils. Being higly confident about Airasia, I made my way to the gate after walking for a good 15 mins only to realise that the boarding gate had been changed from D47 to C11. With almost 15 mins left for take off, I panicked and all sorts of things began forming in my head. My hugeass hand carry and DFS bag definitely didn't help. I was tossing the idea of throwing it away and running barefoot. I had to reassure myself that out of throngs of people walking alongside with me at least 2 would be headed to C11 as well. But of coz, that wasn't the case since no one came through the gate after me. One of the many thoughts on my mind was dropping to the ground. You can't imagine the elation when I saw officers still at the gate. It was as if I was on my way to recieve a PSC scholarship or something of equivalence if not of higher recognition. I gulped down the bottle of water and made my way through. Barely within 2 minutes later, the plane was in motion. It was indeed, a close flight.

Lessons to be learnt:
#1: Hand carry is supposed to be hand carry. So no overpacking especially when you are flying solo.
#2: Don't be overconfident especially when you're flying by a budget plane.
#3: Comfortable shoes would be a bonus.

On a brighter note, I'm one step closer to flying solo confidently. 3 hours left to go :)
