I know I'm supposed to be making the best out of my last year in NUS. This afterall might just be my last as a full time student, in a while at least. I've always wanted to be in NUS. Since crossing the border for my degree was not an option, I had to choose between the 3 giants. NTU was immediately striked off due to it's wonderful location. So, I was left with the other 2. As novel and promising SMU's degree sounded, I just had to belong to the brand school afterall. Plus, the other reason was that I had to be part of TLS. So yes, having chosen NUS, I am supposed to making the best. If I thought year 3 was hard enough, year 4 which spells FYP is enough to kill me, with me having survived 7 weeks only. Mondays which are my lecture-free days inevitably have morphed into FYP lab days. I don't think I would even mind running the machine as I freeze my ass off. Running around between labs finding relevant personnel, getting user registration forms signed was all I did in the 4 hours I spent, rather, I wasted today. Oh, I did manage to revise my first 2 chapters for materials amidst the waiting. So, wasn't that bad of a time wastage I guess.
And just when I thought this weekend would be a breather since the last weekend flew by, with me buried in my books, I get an announcement that there is a quiz for heat transfer, next wednesday. There goes yet another weekend. Life as a year 4 student. When would the good times arrive? |
