I think it's all about adjusting your thinking. That makes the difference as to how you perceive things. Sometimes, the situation warrants skepticism and nonchalance even. But, at all other times, give the other party benefit of doubt, for you might be amazed at what he/she can offer you actually.
I might not be acing my degree programme or anywhere close to a decent honors even. But, I know I have the people I need with me, through this. And no amount of education, career opportunities or a big fat pay cheque will measure up to that. Trying my best to shut off the unnecessary and uncalled for remarks, I have to bear with every other day. Apart from that, life is bliss coz I get to end it on Skype with the lil kid, who was so full of herself as she sprang up the brilliant idea of jumping over the hedge to get into a house party. Keep that up. And soon all those party animals will be behind you. You are doing just great. Code Language: You Suck. |
