If movies make you escape reality, sex and the city 2 sure does the trick almost every second watching the lifestyles of the 4 ladies. It was hilariously funny of coz with its sexual humor warranting a rating of M18. It was just a good escape away from reality of life.
But the movie reminded me of certain parts of myself. The part where Carrie finds herself so far away from home when she was at Abu Dhabi reminded me of myself when I was in Turkey in December. The period of the trip couldn't have been any better I think coz escaping away from all that was happening back home was just want I needed. To just be physically away god knows how many miles, just allows you to put things into perspective and discover yourself. To have that appetite for life back. To marvel at beauty. At nature. Carrie just reminded me of myself. What I think, I'm fearing right now. To become her. Waiting for Eat, pray, love in August. Italy, India, Bali here I come! |
