I was never a big fan of Unnikrishnan. But attending his concert, Cinema Raagas at Esplanade Concert Hall on Saturday was a good deal. The pleasant fusion of a full orchestra and choir as well as 2 lead singers, Unni and Saindhavi were awesome. How they so smoothly did transitions between carnatic, old as well as new cinema hits were great. Visual effects definitely kept the audiences' eyes fixated upon the stage. Only set back I had was Unnikrishnan and Saindhavi had very little air time due to the orchestra and choir taking up a considerable amount of time with their carnatic songs. Not the usual after exam affair but great nonetheless.
And on a wierder note, I actually had a dream last night. I'm not a person who has dreams actually coz I'm a very deep and peaceful sleeper I'd like to think. I dreamt of my semester's grades which happened to be BBDD. I've got no either why only 4 when I took 6 modules! And I'd be really amazed if these were my grades coz my CAP rose by 1 point. How the hell is that possible?!? Talk about wierd dreams as my throat still hurts. |
