And I'm in the midst of preperations for tomorrow's material science paper. And it comes to a point where no matter how much you try to stuff into your brain, the amount of matter that flows out follows an exponential pattern. But no choice, in order to retain the whatever small amount of information in my brain I need to finish my revision as planned for the satisfaction of having finished my revision and doing the paper to my best of ability.
Amidst my studying, as always, my mind wanders about totally unrelated matter. There was a particular email which was about how a speaker shows his audience a fresh 10 dollar note. And then continues by crushing it, and then evenutally stepping on it and so forth. The point of the email was basically to show that the worth of the 10 dollar note doesn't diminish no matter what has happened to the note and the value doesn't drop. Applying the similar analogy to life, works doesn't it. No matter how high your successes are or how low your failures are in life, the value of life shouldn't change. Your self-worth should still remain very much who you are and who you want to be. Don't let paper qualifications or materialistic pursuits determine the value of who you actually are. Be who you want to be folks. The world would be happier place. With that wish me luck as I head to accomplish the next half of material science topics before the sun sets hopefully! Fat hope la. |
