The City That Never Sleeps

As I was on the train yesterday and I noticed the dynamics of a particular Malay family all in their traditional attire, I realised something. Whatever Islam preaches to Muslims or what I ain't sure, but there is something special I notice when a Malay Muslim family interact. Its this thing you feel about their close knit culture there is very apparant and radiates immediately to even a stranger like me. I'm not sure if it's the way they like to break fast throught the period of Ramadan together with their immediate family, extended family both sides or is it the way their colour coordinate their New Year attires to show that they are a family. I'm really not sure. But whenever I look at such a family, I feel happy temporarily at least cause of the happiness they seem to radiate at least.
