The City That Never Sleeps

As I went through my photos on my laptop, it really served like a trip down memory lane over the past couple of years. 3,4 years in fact. And looking at how things have changed made me go all teary and emotional. But at the same time, I think of changes as a chance for me to grow into someone better, someone more complete and whole. At the end of the day, I’d like to think that we all still remain as people with the same values, same essentials which hold us down, same foundation we were built upon. Our external environment, circumstances change. We try to change our external physique, façade to suit the changes thrown upon at us. To adapt ourselves to fit in. To be part of the bigger part of the world. To blend in. Is this act really necessary, I wonder at times? But I guess that’s what keeps life all that interesting. For the changes that revolves around us constantly.

We are essentially the very same person deep down.
