I can be frank but I try to soften my words to make reality seem less harsh.
I can be optimistic but I try to be pessimistic. I can be understanding and empathise with people but I try to be cold. I can be fragile at times but I try to be strong, bold. I can be interested in you but I try to be uninterested, like it doesn’t bother me. I can be loud but I try to be quiet. I can be perfectly who I am, but I just choose to be who others want me to be, most of the time. |
