The City That Never Sleeps

As I resumed back on my Private Practice Season 2, just after 3 episodes which I caught, it dawns on me this is probably one of the best dramas ever. Medical drama of course. Sometimes just watching them makes me feel so real, connected to the characters of the story. The way they exchange emotions, pour their hearts out, the words they choose to speak to stir that right amount of emotion in you is so indescribable. The drama just brings out human emotions as raw as they can be. That’s for sure. Watching them all makes me feel like I can relate to them, like I can feel their pain, sorrow, disappointment, frustration. When the people around you don’t believe in your capabilities. When sometimes you need to let go of your dream no matter how badly you wish for it. When your parents give you false hopes that things are gonna be okay. When people around you are so mad at one another, it pisses you off so bad, that you just wish they can talk it out. When everyone around you seems to have someone all you could wish for is a best friend to be by your side to let you cry. When you realise that often you may have to change your path in getting to your goal. All of this and of course much more, just makes them all so close and real to me. Whereas here, I’m stuck with a bunch of Singaporeans who choose to wear their emotions or intentions on tees. I ripped that of the editorial on Sunday Times where the editor did his own version of 25 random things not about himself but the youth in Spore. Thanks to FB of coz’.

And with that, I’m emotionally more stable and ready for episode 6 of season 2. Cheers!
