The City That Never Sleeps

As I read your words, tears formed in my eyes as I thought how fast you have matured. How books have taught you to craft your words to grab just the right amount of attention at the right moment of the reader. How heartbreaks and goodbyes have made you grow as a person and discover yourself even along the way. How anger has taught you to find peace from within. How disappointment fuelled the raging fire in you to strive harder for excellence. How through all these years of putting up with this place you are now able to find a footing for yourself here. How your tears and heartwrenching moments have taught you how to pour your emotions out through words. Saw the wonders of how these words can encompass all the raw and cold human emotions which are so basic yet so distant these days. All of which, subjects taught in school can't capsulate. Treasure all of these moments till the very last day of school this year; for, 5 years down the road you will look back fondly to see how far yet near these fond memories of schooling life are. It’s the last lap for this race you have begun. Give it your best and reap the joy, glory and pride together with your loved ones. We all have faith in you lil’ sister. Do us proud!
