This thought hit me yesterday. The thing about human beings settling always for something lower be it in terms responsibilities, commitments, choices. They always make themselves feel inferior to themselves and settle for something of a lower class. I dunno why this is so? But we need to break this trend. I need to make a difference. I stepping out of my comfort zone and exploring areas I’ve never seen or expected myself doing. It would be a challenge, struggle, and sacrifice. But I guess at the end of the day the lessons and experiences learnt together with the relationships forged will bring me a long way from the day I took office 11 October 2007. A year down the road let me reflect on this again. And we shall see if words flow or emotions run. It’s about passion. Doing from the heart. That’s what Tamil Language Society resembles, encompasses. I’m very well proud to be part of the 29th Executive Committee even as a committee member. |
