The City That Never Sleeps

And so, here I begin my first entry for the new year. Or so, its called. Relative to 2007. Everything works on relativity anyway. So yes. This thought that I had about human’s reacting to situations based on previous experiences they have had really weighed me down. And it was further elaborated today in class. Humans have this strong tendency within them to predict future happenings base on past experiences. Be it a very small, insignificant decision like how a first try on a new food turned out to be horrible dish eventually to accepting a job promotion in a new workplace just cause the old workplace brought along negative memories. Its speaks very little of humans considering they predict the future based on the past. Cause if so then it would be not called the future. The future is supposed to toss out new possibilities. Options. Zest. Vigour. Excitement. Thrill. Future should not be anything close to the past. There isn’t a thin line separating it. It is a thick thick line. Cause if not there is no difference between the past and the future.
